I am no music expert, but the texture of this song is just perfect for me.  It’s got easy vocals and great harmony of instruments. Initially slow and smooth, its steady beat gradually builds up to an explosive climax. And the quick subtle finale just leaves you wanting for more. The lyrics are notably tinged with darkness, but are vibrant with the colors of hope. It is mysterious and sexy in a certain kind of way, thus blending beautifully to the song’s over-all tone and tempo.

This piece has taken hold of my sensibilities in complete accord, which is interesting as this genre is not even close to any of my liking. I should like to say I’ve grown in musical maturity, if there ever is such.

Unfortunately though, the official music video is pathetic. It does not at all give justice to the song. Such a disconnect. (Just saying…)

"The beauty of the truth is that it need not be proclaimed or believed. It skips from soul to soul, changing form each time it touches, but it is what it is."— Mark Helprin
